Many of our customers have specific questions about our professional maid services. Here are just a few of the frequently asked questions we hear at Suddenly Spotless.
General Questions
Simply click the "Get A Quote" link at the top of the page and one of our Customer Service Specialists will get back to you within 24 hours.
We provide a flat rate for you, based on the average amount of time we estimate it will take our cleaning technicians to clean your home or office.
You'll be charged the same rate for every excellent clean. Satisfaction guaranteed.
We would be happy to do an in-person walkthrough with you to provide the most accurate quote.
If you would rather we just quote you a range and schedule your Initial Clean, we can certainly accommodate that.
We also have a virtual walkthrough option (using Facebook or zoom).
Your cleaning technician will bring their own cleaning supplies, with the exception of any special products that you prefer.
We prefer to use your mop and vacuum, if possible, to help minimize the potential for cross-contamination, but we are also very willing to bring our own, if need be.

Scheduling Questions
Not usually. We typically schedule about a week out. You can always ask, though. We will certainly accommodate you if we can.
It’s completely up to you.
Our cleaning technicians wear masks and practice proper distancing to keep you safe.
If you’re not going to be home, make sure you let us know how to access your house before your Initial Clean.
Yes, most of the time. However, we allow our cleaners a 30-minute window to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.
In scenarios where your cleaner will be late, you will be contacted to let you know the ETA.
You are not charged until after the cleaning has been completed. Billing typically occurs 1-3 days post cleaning. You will receive an email receipt when that occurs.
No, you can cancel service anytime without any penalties. You don’t have to commit to any contracts or a pre-determined number of appointments.
Cleaning Questions
Here’s a listing of what gets cleaned in every room of your house during a regular, recurring maintenance cleaning. You can always request additional services or more time for a deeper cleaning.
KITCHEN
Outside of appliances, inside of microwave cleaned
Clean stove top
Clean and sanitize sink
Clean and disinfect all countertop surfaces
Spot clean exterior cupboards and other kitchen furniture
BATHROOM
Full cleaning and disinfection of shower and bathtub
Clean, dry and shine mirrors, sinks, fixtures
Scrub and sanitize toilet
Spot clean exterior of cabinets
Clean and sanitize countertop surfaces
ALL ROOMS
Dust exposed surfaces including baseboards
Wipe and sanitize touchpoints, including doorknobs, rails and light switches.
Clean, dry and shine mirrors
Spot clean interior windows for obvious smudges
Vacuum carpets and/or sweep and mop floors
Empty waste baskets and replace bags (please leave new clean bags and instruct cleaners where to leave trash)
BEDROOM
Make beds (please leave clean sheets on the bed)

We offer a range of services from weekly cleaning to one-time cleaning to move-in and move-out cleaning and office cleaning. You can see the different services by visiting the front page and clicking on the “Services” button halfway down the page.
Only one cleaner is typically sent to your home. For Initial Cleans, you will likely have a team of two or three, but for regular, recurring cleans, only one person will be taking great care of your house. If you’re on a recurring schedule, we’ll do our best to match you with the same person going forward.
Absolutely. The cleaners go through a screening process that includes a background check, reference checks, and in-person interviews.
